Fish Curry with Himalayan Chef Fish Masala

  • In a bowl, combine the fish pieces with 1 tbsp of lemon juice (optional) and a pinch of Himalayan Chef Pink salt. Set aside for 15 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a pan or pot over medium heat. Add chopped onions and cook until softened and translucent, about 5 minutes.
  • Add the ginger-garlic paste and cook for an additional minute, stirring constantly to release the aroma.
  • Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften and release their juices, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Stir in the Himalayan Chef Fish Masala, Himalayan Chef turmeric powder, and Himalayan Chef red chili powder. Cook for another minute.
  • Pour in 1 cup of water and bring the mixture to a simmer.
  • Gently add the marinated fish pieces to the simmering sauce. Cover the pan and cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flaky.
  • Once cooked, taste and adjust the seasoning with additional salt or lemon juice if needed and serve hot with rice or naan bread.
